All commited to Ecological Transformation.

Terra Academia, a non-profit organization founded in 2023 at the initiative of Veolia, is both a school and an accelerator for the skills and professions essential to ecological transformation. Its mission is to study the evolving needs in terms of skills and jobs—both locally and nationally—and to accelerate the dissemination of these skills through education and training.

At Terra Academia, we firmly believe that ecological transformation is not only necessary and vital for the health and vitality of our territories, but also a powerful source of opportunity for individuals and organizations alike.

Our Governance.

Terra Academia is governed by:

  • A General Assembly, composed of all members divided into four groups: businesses and entrepreneurs; academic and training institutions; public sector and local authorities; and civil society. The General Assembly approves the financial accounts, votes on the budget, and elects members to the Board of Directors.
  • A Board of Directors, chaired by Jean-Michel Blanquer, consisting of founding members, active members and qualified individuals.
